Celebrate the crunch and freshness of Revol Greens® Organic Romaine Twins in this easy-to-follow Sizzling Veggie Fajitas recipe


Ingredients

  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 3 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 (8-ounce) carton mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon each: cumin, smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1-2 heads of Revol Greens® Organic Romaine Twins
  • 10 small flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl combine the avocado oil, soy sauce, lime juice, maple syrup, cumin, smoked paprika, and pepper.
  2. Pour the marinade over the veggies, stir, and refrigerate for at least ½ hour.
  3. Add the oil to a large skillet and bring heat to medium-high. Add the marinated veggies and cook for 15 minutes stirring frequently.
  4. Warm the tortillas.
  5. Layer romaine leaves inside of a warmed tortilla, then top with the fajita mixture.
  6. Garnish with avocado, tomatoes, salsa, sour cream, and more chopped romaine.
